*Please note that as we transition to Banner, there may be a period of unavailability to issue student IDs.*

You can get a PHSC student ID card at any campus library. You will need your student number and a government issued ID. Your Student ID is a photo ID, so you will have your picture taken. Your student ID is also your library card, and has both your student number and your library borrow ID number printed on the front of the card. Your PHSC student  ID does not expire. As long as you are a student at PHSC, it is your student ID and library card. You must be enrolled in classes for the semester to use the card services such as getting on the PHSC databases and checking out books.

Students who need to have a new ID made when entering a medical program will receive a new ID at no charge.

  1. Do you need to be a current student to check out books or use library services, or can you use a Pasco county library card instead?

  2. You will need to be a current student of PHSC to check out books. If you are looking for a specific book, you can request it from your own institute's library through interlibrary loan services. We do reciprocal borrowing amongst the Florida colleges and university systems. There are certain library resources at each campus which are available to the public, while other resources at each campus are student-only availability. Please check with the campus closest to you to find out more about these resources. Nava Cohen Associate Director of Libraries, North Campus PHSC Library FAQ moderator
