PHSC Libraries have several great databases for browsing research paper topics. You can access these by logging into Canvas and opening your course. Click on the Electronic Library Resources button in the left navigation menu; on this page, click on the "Open in New Tab" button to launch our library catalog (Primo). If you are presented with a login screen, it is your student email and your password (same as you use for the Bobcat Portal).

From the catalog homepage, you can click on "A-Z Databases" to access several databases that allow you to browse ideas for research topics:

Opposing Viewpoints

Issues and Controversies

These databases also give you an overview of the topic or issue as a starting point to learn more about the topic and to begin your research. If you have any questions about accessing databases or articles, please reach out to your local campus library staff for assistance.
