Students can borrow books from other colleges or public libraries using inter-library loan (ILL).  This is a free service.  Library staff will request the material for you, or show you how to request it online using our online catalog.   You can request books online from all 28 state colleges and 9 universities. Click on the "UBorrow" link of your search results.

If you can't find it on uBorrow, we can borrow it for you using Worldcat.  The book will be shipped to the campus of your choice for pick-up.

A book you requested will be held for ten (10) days, and then we will return it to the owning library.  Library staff always try to re-contact students to remind them that books are waiting for them.  If you can't pick up the book, call to see if we can hold it longer for you.

You can also borrow any book from another PHSC campus, and it will be shipped to the campus of your choice for pickup.  We always call or e-mail you when your material arrives.  You can return books to any of our four campus libraries.  This is a free service.
